Sailrite Ultrafeed™LSZ-1  
This is a portable machine (comes in a case about the size of a standard home sewing machine — weighs 40 lbs). The Ultrafeed line is the most popular sewing machine line we sell. They are relatively inexpensive, very reliable and easy to use. The LSZ-1 performs zigzag and straight stitch (all of our machines reverse). It has a true walking foot which results in great feeding capability (sews up to a 6mm stitch). I consider this machine to be the best choice for someone who has both canvas and sail to sew. This machine is not fully gear driven (the Sailmaker is) which results in a bit of noise during operation. I often refer to the Ultrafeed as a tank — "it will get the job done but will rattle a bit in the process". All internal components are metal.
